About Us
We are the legacy descended from enslaved Americans. After generations of captivity, violence, and injustices perpetrated upon Black Americans, we recognize the need for comprehensive reparations to heal our community. We join the chorus of citizens, families, and communities across America in the demand for justice and healing.
We believe in a future where America fulfills the promise to all citizens, tangibly atoning for historic atrocities enabled against Black Americans. We are committed to sharing the vision of this future with our families and community. At this critical moment in our nation’s history, we call on our fellow citizens to mobilize with us in the campaign to finally repair our communities, making America whole.
We charge the United States for crimes committed against enslaved Black Americans and their descendants. We will hold America accountable to the unfulfilled promise extended to the descendants of chattel slavery. In the words of Ta-Nehisi Coates - “until we reckon with the compounding moral debts of our ancestors, America will never be whole.”
